Nestled above the enchanting cobblestone streets surrounding the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a luxurious living space has been fashioned.

The French word atelier refers to the workshop of an artist in the field of fine or decorative arts and, fittingly, the unique character of Atelier Montmartre is distinguished by its professional interior finish.

Every aspect of your stay here has literally been crafted to match, and indeed surpass, the exacting standards of a first-class suite in a four-star hotel, while simultaneously offering you all the stable comforts of a home. Superior furnishings and charming, rustic features such as: access to a private courtyard garden, a contemporary log fire in the living room, and a marble bathroom with a large bath and refreshing rain shower, supply the premises with a designer feel.

An ingenious utilization of space has been achieved through an open plan arrangement, incorporating two functional mezzanines that can serve as an extra bedroom and a place for storing luggage. Aside from the spacious central living area there is an attractive separate dining room, a fully fitted modern kitchen and an upstairs office space.

Reserved exclusively for summer rentals, Atelier Montmartre provides an ideal base from which to explore the majestic City of Light during its busiest season. On the other hand, you may find it just as memorable spending the long sunny days exploring the abundance of social, cultural, historical and, of course, gastronomic wonders that exist even within the local neighborhood.

Situated in the same vicinity as Paris With A View, this apartment shares all of the same amenities and attractions so that the Basilica, Place du Tertre and Espace Dalí, for instance, are only steps away.

A selection of gems from the neighborhood...

Cuisine: Quoted as being ‘a Montmartre legend’, Le Moulin de la Galette is only a couple of blocks west on rue Lepic and comes highly recommended. A few doors up that same street Antoine de Montmartre can also be found, a newly opened tapas style restaurant (with the same owner) that we had the pleasure of trying out firsthand.

Shopping: Atelier Montmartre is located an equal distance from both rue des Abbesses and rue Caulaincourt, which invites you to take full advantage of the plethora of high quality boulangeries, patisseries and fromageries trading on these streets. For the fashion conscious people among us you should be pleased to know that Montmartre is also home to numerous trendy, contemporary boutiques stocking exquisite expressions of Parisian haute-couture.

Design: Taking a brief stroll from the apartment, down the steps of the Basilica, will lead you to find Tissus Reine and the famous Marché Saint-Pierre. Consisting of five floors of textiles it is one of the world's largest fabric stores, and an absolute mecca for anyone interested in textiles, design and fashion.
